💀💀 Angra Minu - Manticore Code 💀💀 (DWR002, 2021)

And the Daevas descended upon the cosmos; an horde of demons embodying envy, wrath, greed and evil. They invoked the Man-eater, the martichoras, the Manticore; an apex predator with the head of a human, body of a lion and a tail of poisonous spines. A mighty sentient beast whose name derived from its craving for human flesh, allegedly singing softly as it gorged down its victims, eating them whole, leaving no bones behind. They used its call to lure people in.
And now the Spenta Mainyu Gathas have been redesigned. The Code is re-written.

❖ About Angra Minu ❖

ANGRA MINU, the Avestan name for the destructive spirit in Zoroastrianism, is the sonic manifestation and brainchild of ATARO & AKŌMAN.
With nearly 30 years of combined mastery in music production and sound engineering, these two childhood friends responsible for founding Ashtoz, a darkprog project in 2012, and DarkWeb Records in 2020, as well as spawning a few other projects during their colourful orbit, joined forces once more to form ANGRA MINU.
The project is an auditory experiential immersion; a construct forged by hefty basslines, modular sounds, sonic experimentation and music influences from their native Iran, at high speeds.
